Cho Wing So is an attorney with the Workers' Compensation Division at Alvandi Law Group, P.C. He brings more than a decade of legal experience in litigation support, legal research, regulatory compliance, investigations, and client advocacy. Licensed to practice law in California since 2014, Mr. So has developed extensive experience analyzing complex legal matters, evaluating evidence, and helping clients navigate challenging legal issues.
Prior to joining Alvandi Law Group, Mr. So served as an Attorney Advisor with the U.S. Small Business Administration's Office of Disaster Assistance. In that role, he managed a high-volume caseload involving disaster-relief applications and conducted detailed reviews of legal and financial records to determine eligibility under federal guidelines. He regularly researched state and federal laws, drafted legal opinions, investigated potential fraud, and coordinated with insurance carriers, government agencies, and applicants to resolve complex claims. His experience assessing evidence and advocating through administrative processes provides a strong foundation for representing injured workers pursuing the benefits they deserve.
Mr. So also spent several years providing litigation support to law firms involved in complex legal matters. His work included legal research, factual investigations, evidence analysis, case preparation, and collaboration with litigation teams on large-scale disputes. Through this experience, he developed a strong understanding of case strategy, case management, and the importance of thorough preparation in achieving successful outcomes for clients.
Fluent in both Cantonese and Mandarin, Mr. So is dedicated to serving California's diverse communities and helping clients understand their rights throughout the legal process. His bilingual abilities enable him to communicate effectively with clients in their preferred language and provide clear, accessible guidance during every stage of their case.
Mr. So earned his Juris Doctor from Southwestern Law School, where he received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Moral and Legal Argument. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from California State University, Fullerton.
