Karine Hafuta, Esq., is a Litigation Attorney at Alvandi Law Group, where she advocates for injured workers with compassion, diligence, and determination. Licensed to practice law in California, Ms. Hafuta is dedicated to guiding her clients through their cases and helping them pursue justice and meaningful recovery. She focuses her practice on workers’ compensation, and also brings experience from her clerkships in personal injury and criminal law.
Ms. Hafuta graduated with honors from Southwestern Law School, where she was a member of the Trial Advocacy Honors Program. She was also one of the select few to receive the prestigious Wildman/Schumacher Scholarship for all three years of her legal studies.
Before beginning her legal career, Ms. Hafuta worked as an on-air news reporter for CBS and as a producer for ABC News, contributing to programs such as Good Morning America, World News Tonight with David Muir, 20/20, and Nightline. Her journalism background equips her with a sharp investigative perspective and a holistic approach to each case and client.
Outside the office, Ms. Hafuta enjoys recording rock music, playing the drums, and spending time at the gym. She also volunteers with two local nonprofits: SoCal Community Health Center and Healing Wheels.
